This is education, not advice
The information here is written for the general reader and does not replace a personal medical consultation. It cannot tell you whether an energy treatment is appropriate for your face, your skin or your circumstances, and it cannot tell you which of the two options, if either, would suit you.
No outcome is guaranteed
No treatment can be guaranteed. How much either option improves, how long the change lasts and how your skin responds vary between individuals, and the result is judged fairly at around three to six months rather than at the next appointment.
The change is modest and temporary
Radiofrequency and microfocused ultrasound both produce a limited change in mild laxity, and that change fades as ageing continues. Neither repositions tissue that has descended, neither removes fat and neither removes excess skin. Maintenance is part of the plan rather than an unexpected extra.
Some harm cannot be undone
There is no way to reverse an energy treatment. The intended effect fades on its own, but a burn, a contour irregularity or a nerve-related problem does not resolve simply because the treatment stopped, and correction is harder than avoidance.
